EXERCISE 1

You will read a short story about a kidnapping " The Kidnapper's Gamble".

You must try to discover who is the kidnapper. After reading the story you can find more information in the picture by clicking on the different objects to get a clue. You can work in groups for diccussion.

Watch the video "Clue trailer".

Then, have a look at the vocabulary "Describing people". 

Write a description of one of the characters you have seen on the video. You can work in pairs. Write the description in a Word document.

Mixed tenses. Do this exercise using Past Simple and Past Continuous.

EXERCISE 7

Group activity 

One group will be the police, the other one will be the witness of a murder. The task is to work together and prepare questions that the police will ask the witness. The witnesses will see the video " Un asesinato en París" whereas the police will be sent out of the class. Once the video has been payed, the police will have to make questions to the witnesses in order to get as much information as possible about the crime. 

Write the questions and answers in a word document.

EXERCISE 8

Describe one character for your mysterious story. Imagine an alibi for each character in order to include it in the wiki as clues for the detective.

Write your description in a Word document, then upload your files to the wiki.
