Introducción:
Hi guys.
Let’s get into Kensuke’s kingdom.
You are invited to a trip through Kensuke's Kingdom with a boy called Michael and his dog Stella.
In this chapter, Michel and his parents go to Brazil, South Africa, and even the Canaries.
Do you want to find out some interesting things about these countries and this wonderful story?
You’ll have to work in groups of 3 o 4 people and look for the following information on the Internet or you can help yourselves with the book.
1.- Create a picture dictionary of the animals mentioned in this chapter. Include the country they come from and the food they eat.
2.- Research the sailing terms used in the chapter and create a poster describing each. Use pictures and illustrations to support each. Be colourful and creative.
3.- Create a map of the island for someone who may visit there. Use crayons and markers along with a map key. Add also the flags of these countries,
4.- Now answer these questions of general knowledge:
-How many official languages are there in South Africa?
-What religions can we found in South Africa?
-What language is the most spoken in Brazil?
-Which sport mentioned on the book is played in Brazil?
- What type of climates can be found in South Africa?
- What kind of entertainment does South Africa offer?
