Welcome to he fascinating world of forest fires!

During the last months you have been studying and analyzing the features of the Mediterranean forests relating them to their vegetation, climate, adaptations, etc. So now you are already experts on that field!

That is the reason why we now ask for your help. We need you to aplply all the knowledge acquired to detect the causes and the consequences of forest fires. That is because, as you know, they are too much frequent in our forests. We also expect you to be able to make suggestions about how could we avoid them.

Create an individual text (previous knowledge) using theinformation provided in the survey as a guideline.

PRE-TASK

You are going to take a look to the webquest as a learning tool. Your teacher is going to explain you how it works and how are you going to organize each the task.
Make sure that you understand everything because you should work as autonomously as possible. Nevertheless, don't forget that you can always ask for help both to your teacher or to your class mates.
You will take a look to the new vocabulary. Remember that you will have acess to it whenever you need. So, please use it !! DON'T INVENT YOR OWN ENGLISH DICTIONARY!
