Mastery of the topic 30%

There’s evidence that what I am saying is memorized. I don’t know so much vocabulary related to the topic.

I don’t present enough details and/or ideas to enrich my speech. I use limited vocabulary. I use vague expressions.

There’s evidence that I involved with the topic, I interact with my partner using most of the time the appropriate language.

I express my opinion correctly; I widely use the target language. I show confidence while I speak.

Fluency 25%

I have problems to connect my ideas; I make too many pauses and hesitations.

I have problems to organize my speech owing to I frequently make pauses, which sometimes make unclear what I trying to say.

I speak at an appropriate speed even though I make unnecessary pauses. There’s a consider use of connectors.

I speak in a natural and logical way. I organize and connect my ideas logically using the appropriate vocabulary.

Accuracy 25%

I limited to use basic grammar structures.

I use simple sentences and verb tenses (e.g. present and past). I don’t try to use intermediate grammar.

I try to use intermediate grammar with attempts to advanced grammar structures.

Beside the grammar studied in this lesson, I use advanced level structures (modals, reported speech, clauses, etc).

Pronunciation 20%

My pronunciation makes hard to understand what I say.

I make mistakes in my pronunciation that cause interference. I don’t correct myself.

I have a reasonable pronunciation. I make mistakes but I don’t notice them.

I have a pronunciation very close to the standard. I correct myself if I make a mistake.
